VALE: “Validating Leadership Experiences for Female Mobilities”
Associations Leonardo Da Vinci – 1 August 2013 to 31 July 2015
YBPW is proud to announce its partnership with 5 other European Organisations, in the EU funded program with the project “Validating Leadership Experiences for Female Mobilities” (VALE).
The project brings together SMEs, VET & Mobility organisations, ECVET experts and women’s associations to share knowledge and best practice in the fields of ECVET principles: female leadership competences and supporting host SMEs and trainees to validate placement learning. The project aims at helping female graduates to validate leadership skills gained during a European placement in order to become more attractive to prospective employers and kick-start their careers as future leaders in Europe. The partners of the project are from Bordeaux (France), Rzeszów (Poland) and Gran Canaria (Spain).
VALE will combine the barriers addressing mobility, SME growth and female leadership skills & overcome them using ECVET principles developed to support host businesses & promote female leaders. This will be achieved through sharing each partner’s know-how to develop a supportive wiki-guide (the VALE E-guide) for both hosts & trainees as well as a Leadership Skills Portfolio template for future female leaders to use when entering the labour market & gain their first foot on the career ladder.
